Modern Bedrooms
You spend more time at home and you definitely deserve comfort. In a way, your bedroom should represent an original expression of yourself: your taste of colors, your ideas of comfort, your imagination of a space where you walk in and immediately feel relaxed.
Let's review some of the popular bed types and styles available at Classic2Modern.
PLATFORM BEDS
Unlike the traditional beds, the platform beds typically have no foot board, and sit lower to the floor. Instead of a box spring, platform beds use slats or a solid piece of wood, to support the mattress. Because box springs naturally add height to the mattress, the platform beds are lower.
See below one of our bestsellers, the Modrest Impera Contemporary Lacquer Bed, by VIG Furniture. Offering an award-winning design, it includes built-in nightstand and led lights along the rail of the bed.
Same spectacular design is offered by Modrest Torino Bed in Brown Oak and Grey.
Some platform beds offer a slightly higher frame for those who traditionally prefer a height of a standard bed, or at least their platform beds to be a little bit higher above the ground. Some of these intelligently use the added space to offer storage. Just like this Moe's Home Collection Blair Bed in Cappuccino Fabric, which includes 2 convenient drawers on each side of the bed.
MID-CENTURY MODERN STYLE BEDS
Perhaps a bit surprisingly, the mid-century style from 1960s (of course, combined with some contemporary elements), steadily comes back into fashion! This trend has been hot for dining room furniture for several years already, but now started to penetrate living room and bedroom furniture as well. Let's see some of the featured mid-century beds below.
